Zip Gun Bop - the best rockabilly video

Tonight I want to write just few words about my favorite rockabilly and vintage inspired video.
The name of this song is Zip Gun Bop, made by Royal Crown Revue. It was one of the first rockabilly videos I've seen and still remains my favorite.
I'm in love with music, this absolutely stunning swing brass sounding! And the clip is wonderful itself: style, atmosphere and the characters. It seems I'll never be bored by this great stuff.

Boppin' Bunnies - space invasion

Bonjour! Here we are - sweet ladies called Boppin' Bunnies. Four years ago we spontaneously decided to make dance number special for New Year party in our local rockabilly community ukrabilly.com. We created dance routine, sewed dresses, made the show. It was resounding success! Since that time we have great new year dance tradition.

In December 2012 we made show called Devil women from Outer Space.

Это наш чудесный клип, который был снят в последние дни лета 2010 в Харькове. Сам процесс принёс массу удовольствия, неизгладимых впечатлений и угарных воспоминаний.Два дня взгляды людей в городе были прикованы к нам, потому что наш вид и количество не могли не привлечь внимания. Честно говоря, тусовочка таких размеров действительно редкость для Харькова. У нас осталось куча фоток, большой фильм о фильме и чудесные воспоминания. Главный автор и вдохновитель - Крис из WiseGuys - лучшей украинской рокабилли-команды. Приятного просмотра!

Let me show you video clip we made in Kharkiv in the last summer days of 2010. That was big joy and fun for us. Two days we were caughting everybody's eye because of our look and quantity (to tell the truth, that's really unusual for Kharkiv). We have loads of photos, big film about clip and great memories. I want to live it once again.

В этом году Украбилли Выбух у нас прошёл совершенно феерически! Восхитительная погода, замечательные группы и чудесные люди. Ко мне было очень много внимания из-за моего нового шикарного платья :) Я придумала идею несколько лет назад, но только сейчас решила воплотить его в жизнь. Моя подруга Оля (спасибо ей большое!) сшила его, и я считаю, что оно действительно бесподобное. Мне очень-очень нравится!

This year we had absolutely fabulous Ukrabilly bang #8! Nice weather, great bands and lovely people. I got a lot of attention because of my new fabulous dress :) I designed it few years ago, but now only decided to make it. My friend Olya helped me with sewing, and I think the work is really well done. Love it.

Ukrabilly Bang

Выбух - это моё любимое событие весны. Куча народу, разодетых в свои лучшие наряды, обувь, со стильными причёсками и чудесным настроением. В этом году состоится уже восьмой фестиваль и продлится три дня (а если считать пре-пати и афтепати, то все пять дней). Нас ждут лучшие европейские и отечественные групы, играющие рокабилли и сайкобилли, различная развлекательная программа, пляски и общение с теми, кого давно не видел (а приедет ого-го сколько!) Пре-пати уже в эту пятницу. Ждём!

Ukrabilly Bang is my favorite spring gig, the biggest East-European rockabilly & psychobilly festival. You can find loads of people in their best outfits, shoes, with beautiful hairstyles and great mood. This year is gonna be 8th festival in a row and will last for three days (with pre-party and after-party - five days). Best european and Ukrainian/Russian rockabilly and psychobilly bands, various programm and communication and hugs with foreign friends. Party starts on Friday! Can't wait :)

Прошло немало времени, но вот и второй мой пост :) "Лучше поздно, чем никогда," - сказал старый еврей и положил голову на рельсы после того, как ушёл поезд.

Позади у меня поездка в Крым и чудесные августовские дни в компании любимой тусовочки.

Small survey to sunny august days in Crimea. We had enough time for everything: food, swimming & photoshooting, short nap in the middle of the day and music nights. I love summer. The only bad thing about summer is it overs toooo fast!
